ACTOR

Indra J. Adler is a professional actress, writer and producer based in the UK.

​

She has performed with several acclaimed companies including National Theatre Wales, Kaye Winwood Projects and Mama Quilla.

She has also appeared in Coronation Street, Remember Me (BBC) and Marcus Lee's film Immental (Official Selection at The Sydney World Film Festival 2016).

 

Indra was co-founder, joint Artistic Director and Producer of the critically acclaimed Blame The Space Theatre which won rave reviews during its tour. She trained with Trinity Guildhall gaining a Diploma in Performance with Distinction, with the Polichinelo Circus School in Physical Comedy and Acrobatics and she has attended classes with renowned teachers Crystal Carson, Lesley Khan and Amy Lyndon in Los Angeles.

She is currently enrolled at Identity School of Acting.

WRITER

Indra's writing career began with the publication of ​​her memoir Pale which was published in 2016 in the anthology Tangled Roots.

 

Since then, her poems have been included in Visual Verse Anthology and in 2021, Sand Journal included her entry in the final selection for their De/Constructed Poetry Contest.

​

In 2022, as part of ICE Monologues at Hotbed Festival, she performed her play Bike Thief.

 

Indra has recently completed a Master's in Writing for Performance at The University  of Cambridge.
